A new survey has been launched to gather statistical insights on its members, focusing on key criteria such as nationality, gender, represented interests, experience in standardization, and familiarity with the AI Act.
This initiative aligns with the European Commission’s Standardization Request, which emphasizes the importance of diversity in standard-setting processes. By ensuring standards are developed by individuals from varied backgrounds, we can enhance their acceptance and impact across civil society.

Preliminary findings will be shared at the Stavanger plenary.
